Institut für Arbeitswissenschaft der RWTH Aachen University

01.05.2020 - 30.04.2023

At the department of Ergonomics and Human-Machine Systems of the Institute of Industrial Engineering and Ergonomics (IAW) at RWTH Aachen University, scientists from different disciplines conduct research on a number of integrated occupational science topics. In addition to engineering and computer science, disciplines such as psychology, sociology and sports science are also represented in our interdisciplinary team. The different scientific approaches enable an integrated evaluation and optimization especially of complex and dynamic socio-technical systems, where the focus is on humans and the existing interactions with technical actors and systems.

The IAW of RWTH Aachen University is part of InviDas, one of the 10 funded projects of the research program "Human-Technology Interaction for Digital Sovereignty".
