Description

The professorship Cognitive Psychology and Human Factors belongs to the department of Psychology at Chemnitz University of Technology. It combines basic and application-oriented topics from the fields of "cognitive psychology" and "human factors/engineering psychology" in an innovative and integrative way in research, teaching and project work. One focus is user research in the area of human-maschine interaction, specifically the investigation of usability e.g. in the area of privacy protection when using mobile apps.

 

In the PANDERAM project, the professorship is responsible for specifying user types, deriving and evaluating user-specific options for action, and fostering the user-centered design process of the security and analysis center.

The professorship Cognitive Psychology and Human Factors pf the TU Chemnitz is part of PANDERAM, one of the 10 funded projects of the research program "Human-Technology Interaction for Digital Sovereignty".
